In layman’s language, it seen as a surface in sports field, garden lawns or terrace gardens, an unwanted weed gardens. Many are unaware its phytoconstituents, pharmacological nutraceutical properties which progressively make science to aim for C. dactylon’s enormous potential curing problems like ulcers, diabetes, arrhythmia, diarrhoea, inflammation, edema etc. Objectives: To discuss constituents phytochemicals with curative investigation various ailments. Materials Methods: Different kinds extracts i.e. aqueous extract, ethanolic alcoholic hydro-alcoholic were taken into account study their against ailments organically. Results: Having origin from east Africa, contains large amounts biologically active compounds phytochemical compounds, has attracted many researchers properties. Experiments conducted on animals have resulted effect is, field whether treating healing up excision incision wounds, reducing improving functioning muscular system circulatory body.
